Meet Chai, our classic apricot American Dream Goldendoodle — and living proof of what our puppies grow up to be. Chai came from one of our own American Dream litters, with the soft, loose curls and the teddy-bear face that stop people mid-sidewalk. She is a silly, mellow, happy girl who has never once met a stranger.
Chai is at her very best with children. She has bottomless patience for little hands and wiggly toddlers, will happily flop down and let a child read to her, then bounce right back up for a game of fetch. Nothing rattles her — she is the dog you want in a living room full of kids.
She is also a working service dog, which tells you everything you need to know about her temperament: steady, focused, unflappable in a crowd, and completely tuned in to her person. That calm, biddable nature is exactly what she passes along to her puppies.
Off duty, Chai is pure island girl — beach days, pool decks, her favorite pink ball, and a long nap in a sunny spot beside her best friend, a very patient French Bulldog.
