Meet Chai, our classic apricot American Dream Goldendoodle — and living proof of what our puppies grow up to be. Chai came from one of our own American Dream litters, with the soft, loose curls and teddy-bear face that stop people mid-sidewalk. She is a silly, mellow, happy girl who has never once met a stranger — especially at her best with children, with bottomless patience for little hands. She is also a working service dog: steady, focused, unflappable in a crowd, and completely tuned in to her person — that calm, biddable nature is exactly what she passes along to her puppies. Off duty, Chai is pure island girl: beach days, pool decks, her favorite pink ball, and a long nap beside her best friend, a very patient French Bulldog.
