Darby is our classic blonde beach babe! Her favorite part of the day is her evening beach walks and swims where she chases after a duck decoy when tossed down the beach, but her favorite is retrieving it from the ocean, as she waits for the perfect timing to charge out there and excitedly bring it back! While Darby has a great retrieving drive, she has a very low prey drive. What this means is that children, animals (even cats and chickens) can be running all around her and she will naturally, calmly, stay down, very relaxed, in a settled position, and happily watch or chew on a coconut husk, instead of chasing and jumping. She is excellent at traveling to and visiting all places, from busy airports and restaurants, to shops and malls, to children’s schools and medical appointments, and especially farms. She truly is our “surfing 60’s happy mellow blonde beach babe”
